Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She serves as co-anchor on the channel's programs 'Squawkon the Street' and Closing Bell'. The Ohio native, she was not much interested in markets or currencies in the years prior to her time in college. She interned at ForexTV.com while she was an undergraduate at New York University. The first time she worked with business news through this experience. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's of broadcast journalism. She then did a four-month-long stint at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and began her work in New York at Bloomberg. She later became a TV anchor. In December 2013 she was recruited by CNBC as an anchor. Before landing the job at "Closing Bell and 'Closing Bell', she was co-anchoring 'Worldwide Exchange' and Power Lunch'. Eisen is co-anchoring "Squawk on The Street" since the year 2014. Her primary focus since her arrival at CNBC has been global consumer news.
