Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first job out of school was working in the field of real estate. Tarek el Moussa was her potential future husband. After the 2008 crash of the stock market, the real estate market was hit hard by investors and home flippers were unable to make their profits. Tarek El Moussa, Christina El Moussa, and Tarek El Moussa, lost the majority of their assets as a result of the 2008 market crash. They went from living in the cost of a house that was $6000 per month, and then an apartment costing $700 a month. They slowly rebuilt their company and their economy. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to help him make an HGTV audition tape, which featured him and Christina flipping a house from start to finish. The tape landed in management of an executive at the production company Pie Town Productions. The executives fell in adore with Tarek & Christina. In 2012, the couple signed a deal with HGTV. "Flip of Flop" was launched in April of 2013. Over the course of seven seasons, this show aired from 2013 to 2017. Christina and Tarek bought homes in Orange County that were usually middle income houses. They then spent several months renovating their home so that they can flip the property for gain. Tarek is focused on construction and remodelling while Christina is focused on designing while also making sure all goes according to plan.
