Country-pop and actor songwriter Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex in its final three seasons. The show showcased her first releases as country music, propelling her 2012 debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. Her decade was rounded out by appearances in Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, she released The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer began acting in 2002, when she was still just a teenager. Through the years she was on numerous series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the regular role as Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its final season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career as a performer on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I Won't Go Down" on one episode. The track later appeared in her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. The song was featured in the Top Country Albums of Billboard's chart in the Top Five. Focusing on her music career following that, and not resigning from acting she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer launched her second studio album, Thirty One in collaboration with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. The album was helped by her Top Five country song I Got the Boy and also in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached third place among the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with a 4th place finish. This was also the season that she scored an adult-contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
